Emma Boden – pictured - obtained her music degree at the age of 22 from Bath Spa University with a 2:1 in 2007 She has since made Bath her home and teaches piano and singing privately to both children and adults, which she loves. Alongside teaching, Emma also sings in a number of local societies and choirs. These include THE Bath Chorus which is conducted by Grenville Jones. She is actively involved in music and children's work at St. Bart’s Church.

In her home town of Leamington Spa she was a member of the Royal Leamington Spa Children's Choir for 6 years and is really thankful for the musical opportunities and confidence it gave her. She said;

“I am delighted to be given the chance to work with Grenville and Choirskool and really enjoy working with the children who come along each Tuesday. We are already learning some fun songs and we also engage the children in games and exercise."

Michael Longden began studying piano aged 7, and started singing in choirs at 8. He has since passed grade 8, and went on to pass his Diploma with the highest mark in his hometown of Sheffield, in 2010.

Michael is currently reading Music at Bath Spa University. He says:

“I've heard and been in loads of youth choirs - there's always so much potential to be found and I'm really looking forward to helping everyone achieve it!”

Come along on a Tuesday night and discover Choirskool.
